Snake Bite OBE

I went for an acupuncture session this morning and had a very interesting Out of Body Experience (OBE). The acupuncturist is working on re-awakening and repairing my sciatic nerve in my lower right leg, ankle, and foot. There is still nerve damage from my injury and surgery which is resulting in weakness in my foot. She put a number of needles in my calf, ankle and foot, connected them with electrical stimulation, and left the room for me to rest.

I fell into deep relaxation rather quickly, despite the awkward dull pain caused by the electrical current flowing through my extremity. I swiveled my dream body at the hip so that my dream body was perpendicular to my physical body lying on the table. I turned over so that i was belly to belly, allowed my legs to fall and simply stood up. There I was standing beside my physical body. I decided that this would be a great opportunity to bolster the healing of the acupuncture by running reiki on the right leg of my physical body. As I began to do so, I noticed that the rest of my body wasn’t in alignment, so I adjusted my physical body accordingly. I had both the physical sensation of adjustment and was able to visually watch my physical body move (through the eyes of my dream body). I continued working on my leg and noticed a bright red snake uncoil from around my ankle and foot. It swam through the air at me and struck! It bit my dream body on the left side at the upper hip/lower belly. I grabbed the snake behind its head and pulled it off me. I broke its neck and twisted its head off. Instinctively i rubbed the bloody snake into my wound and then took a big bite of the snake, chewed it up, and swallowed it down.

Pretty intense. I’m open to any and all interpretations.
